“EL Pino” FARM (Requena)

Alejandra and Antonio, my maternal grandparents, decide to marry in 1928 and undertake the adventure of living in a farm surrounded by forest.

There they would raise their first children and would take care of the cultivation of olive trees, almonds and vines, and elaborate the wine in the same property. Years later, they would buy part of these crops that were housed on the estate.

Today, still owned by the family, some of these lands are vineyards of Syrah and Macabeo, planted on clay-calcareous soils at more than 800 meters above sea level.
